April Bowlby is an American model and actress. Her fame is based on her role as Kandi as well as Stacy Barrett from Drop Dead Diva as well as Rita Farr and Titans and Doom Patrol. April Michelle Bowlby (born April Michelle Bowlby) is an American actress best known for portraying Stacy Barrett in Drop Dead Diva and Kandi the popular TV sitcom Two and a Half Men. After starting her career as a model, she then moved to film and TV. Her first small-screen appearance was in the series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation followed by single-episode appearances in other series. In the near future, she was cast in the part of Kandi in the TV show Two and a Half Men. Bowlby is gaining worldwide fame due to her character, Stacy Barrett, in the successful series Drop Dead Diva. She was the main character of the character Rita Farr/Elastigirl on the American web-based series Titans. A spin-off of the series Doom Patrol will see her playing the role. Bowlby also appeared on TV in films such as Sands of Oblivion, The Wrong Daughter and Sands of Oblivion 2. The actress made her debut on the big screen with All Roads Lead Home, then appeared on the screen in The Slammin Salmon as well as From Prada to Nada. Bowlby moved to Manteca California in her early years and attended East Union High School. After studying ballet and French in Moorpark College, Bowlby decided to enter the acting field. She was a drama student at Ivanachubbuck and landed a role on the major television series (Kandi) within three months of her Hollywood audition. Bowlby was a guest star on several TV series like CSI: NY which featured Jenny Lee and Freddie (as Sydney) in 2005. She also appeared as Meg in the movie How I Met Your Mother. More recently Bowlby played the part of Natasha in All Roads Lead Home a 2007 movie about a 12 year old girl that loses her mother in an automobile accident. Bowlby is starring in the comedy film The Slammin Salmon as Mia. She lives with her family in Los Angeles. Naturally red-haired, she is blue-eyed. She was never married, and has she has no children.
