Zoe-perry
Perry was born on the 25th of July 1968 in Chicago in Illinois. She was the daughter of Laurie Metcalf Perry and Jeff Perry. Her first television performances were Jackie Harris on ABC's sitcom Roseanne. Her mother portrayed the character. Perry was forbidden to begin acting with her parents till she reached the age of adulthood because they were afraid of the strain it might create. Perry was shy in high-school and didn't act. She began acting in the year 2000 at Northwestern University to gain friends when she transferred from Boston University. Perry was able to land tiny TV roles on Law & Order: Criminal Intent when she finished her degree. Homesickness, however, brought her to California again where she began working in the stage. She appeared on Broadway as a part of The Other Place with her mother in 2013. The show featured the father of her character Kevin McKidd and Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize winning drama Anna Christie in the year 2015 at the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble, West Los Angeles. Perry appeared in nine episodes of The Family, an ABC crime thriller The Family in 2016. She had a regular role in the ABC drama about politics Scandal which starred her father. The actress also portrayed in the role of a younger Mary Cooper in Young Sheldon - which is a CBS spin-off of The Big Bang Theory. She was cast in the role in spite of her strong family connection to the character.
